Christophe P. Basso

Christophe Basso, born in 1965, was Technical Fellow with onsemi for 24 years. Before that, he was with Motorola for two years and he now works for a distributor. He graduated from the Montpellier university in 1985 and obtained a MSEE in 2007 from the Toulouse INP. He has published 11 books, two in French and nine in English. His previous work, "Switch-Mode Power Supplies: SPICE Simulations and Practical Designs", has been positively welcomed by engineers world-wide and well reviewed by columnists. After his book on Fast Analytical Circuits Techniques (FACTs) released in May 2016 and published with Wiley in the IEEE-press imprint, his student manual, "The Fast Track to Determining Transfer Functions of Linear Circuits", will let the reader harness the power of the FACTs through many documented examples. His brand new book published in 2026 - Simulating Switching Converters with LTspice - describes how to operate the 200+ ready-made switching templates for LTspice that he made available freely to everyone.
