Viken Berberian

Viken Berberian is the author of the novels, The Cyclist (Simon & Schuster/2002), Das Kapital: a novel of love & money markets (Simon & Schuster/2007), and the graphic novel, The Structure is Rotten, Comrade (Fantagraphics/2019, Actes Sud, 2017) with illustrator, Yann Kebbi. Berberian's work has appeared in print and online in the New York Times, Granta, the Financial Times, Le Monde Diplomatique, BOMB, Foreign Affairs, The Nation, the London magazine, and the New York Review of Books. His fiction has been translated to French, Hebrew, Dutch, German, and Italian. He has received recognition from the Centre National du Livre (France), Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (Canada), and the Canada Council for the Arts.
