Joe Welsh

Joe Welsh is a professional transportation planner with an emphasis on railroading and transit. The author of 14 books on American railroading, he has appeared on PBS and the History Channel and spoken at events for the National Park Service, Amtrak and historical societies nationwide. Joe is also a regular contributor to Classic Trains Magazine and Passenger Train Journal Magazine. In 2006 his book Travel by Pullman was nominated for the national book award of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society.
