Darlene West

Darlene West is the author of Awakened by Grace. She was born in Queens, NY to first generation born in the USA Greek parents, and she grew up partly on the east coast and partly on the west coast. She's been cooking since she was five. She loves creating and designing recipes as a hobby. She has a bachelor’s degree in English with a writing minor in the concentration of fiction, as well as a master’s in adult education.

Darlene is a retired corporate developer, program designer, and curriculum specialist. Though she grew up in and loved the restaurant business, her favorite regular job was being a Christian radio disc jockey in Champlain, New York.

Her other hobbies include biking, fishing, camping, and gazing at the stars. She loves being a wife, mother, and especially a granny. But her walk with our Lord Jesus Christ is paramount in her life.
