As an experienced volleyball coach and author, I have dedicated my career to developing and sharing insights in the sport I love. My journey began with the creation of the Coaching Volleyball blog in 2013, initially intended as a resource for coaches in the Southwest of England. However, it quickly grew to attract a global audience, now receiving hundreds of thousands of page views annually. On this platform, I share my thoughts, opinions, and experiences on practice planning, match strategy, team management, and coach development, aiming to support both new and experienced coaches in their journey.

My own coaching career has spanned various levels and countries, having started while I was still in high school. In the U.S., I've had the privilege of coaching in all three NCAA Divisions, as well as at the Junior College and Juniors levels. My international experience includes coaching at university and National League levels in the UK, leading a professional team in Sweden, and engaging with teams and programs across Europe and South America. This diverse experience has deeply enriched my understanding of the game and coaching methods. I am using these insights in my current position leading the national team programs for England.

In a related work, I've collaborated with partners Mark Lebedew and Lauren Bertolacci on the Volleyball Coaching Wizards project, where we have interviewed and published the wisdom of highly successful coaches from around the world. This project has been a fulfilling way to contribute to the volleyball community and share valuable insights with coaches everywhere.
