I am a Web Application Developer for Trilithic, Inc., a company specializing in telecommunications test equipment, emergency alert systems, and RF and microwave components. I maintain and develop their website located at http://www.trilithic.com. For most of 2005 I've been developing a new standards-compliant website for Trilithic using PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In my spare time I've been working on a new book for Wrox, CSS Instant Results.

I'm quite the unlikely CSS author. My passion has always been in PHP, though I have always been interested in standards. I was asked to write Beginning CSS by Jim Minatel, Senior Acquisitions Editor at Wiley. Jim saw my contributions in the Wrox Programmer to Programmer forums at http://p2p.wrox.com and that I tended to evangelize standards in my posts. He asked me to write a book for Wrox and the rest, as they say, is history.
