Doug Wilhelm

Doug Wilhelm’s 17 books for young readers include The Revealers, a novel on bullying that has been the focus of reading and discussion projects in over 1,000 schools. Street of Storytellers, his most recent novel, received three national awards and one New England honor for independently published books, and was named a 2021 Notable Social Studies Trade Book by the Children’s Book Council and the National Council for the Social Studies. Doug’s books also include True Shoes, a sequel to The Revealers on cyberbullying, and 10 titles for the Choose Your Own Adventure series. A full-time writer in Weybridge, Vermont, he also plays conga drums, harmonica and percussion in several local musical groups. What people usually notice first about Doug is that he is six feet ten inches tall — and yes he did play basketball, at Kenyon College.
