Robert M. Grant

Robert Grant was born in Bristol, England and studies at the London School of Economics and City University. He is Emeritus Professor Management at Bocconi University, Milan. Previous faculty positions included Georgetown University, Cal Poly, University of British Columbia, London Business School, City University, and St Andrews University. He is known for his work on the resource-based view of the firm and the role of knowedge within firms. His strategy textbook, "Contemporary Strategy Analysis", is used in leading business schools throughout the world and has been translated into 12 languages. His new book, "Cultivating Human Advantage in the Age of Machines" (John Wiley & Sons) will be published early in 2027.
