Alex Rosenberg

In the 10 years since THE GIRL FROM KRAKOW, Alex Rosenberg has written five more historical novels. Alex has two new books out in the spring of 2025.

THURLOW’S WAR (Warpath Press) is another of Alex’s sweeping stories that connect the real dots of history into a thriller’s narrative. This time it’s the war of Will Thurlow, a pilot fighting the Japanese in China and the South Pacific, the Germans over the European skies, stalked by someone somewhere high in the Allied war machine who is trying very hard to get him killed.

BLUNT INSTRUMENT, from MIT Press, is Alex’s latest nonfiction book. The subtitle says it all, “Why Economic Theory Can’t Get Any Better, Why We Need it Anyway.” George Soros loved it. He wrote, “Alex Rosenberg pulls back the curtain obscuring economic theory, Maybe he even pulls the rug out from underneath it.”
