Sean Homer

Sean Homer is Professor of Film and Literature at the American University in Bulgaria. He is author of Slavoj Zizek and Radical Politics (Routledge, 2016), Jacques Lacan (Routledge, 2005) and Fredric Jameson: Marxism, Hermeneutics, Postmodernism (Polity Press, 1998). He is co-editor, with Douglas Kellner, of Fredric Jameson: A Critical Reader (Palgrave, 2004) and, with Ruth Parkin-Gounelas and Yannis Stavrakakis, of Objects: Material, Psychic, Aesthetic, a special issue of Gramma: Journal of Theory and Criticism (2006). He has also published articles in New Formations, The Letter, Free Associations, Radical Philosophy, Historical Materialism, Slavic Review and Psychoanalysis Culture and Society. His most recent publications have been on contemporary Balkan Cinema.
