Martha Marks

Martha Marks (PhD, Northwestern University) has written and published a variety of highly acclaimed books, ranging from college textbooks to non-fiction and historical fiction. One is a two-time gold-medal winner in international book competitions, and two are top sellers on Amazon. She co-authored another in conjunction with PBS and the Annenberg Foundation.

In 2023, she published 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙚, 𝘼 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙞𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙜𝙚, which is available on Amazon in Kindle, paperback, large-print paperback, and audiobook formats. In 2024, 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙚 won gold medals in both the Health-Medical category (Readers' Favorite Awards) and the Biography-Memoir category (The Global Book Awards). In 2025, it received a silver medal for Memoir/Autobiography/Biography (Reader Views Awards).

Martha's Ruby-Viper Trilogy consists of three well-reviewed historical novels set in the Roman Empire: 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙧, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙩, and 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙮 𝙍𝙞𝙣𝙜 (which should be read in that order). She calls this series "a sprawling and suspenseful first-century family saga."

Both 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙚 and 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙧 have achieved international #1 top-seller status in their categories on Amazon.
