David Decker

David J. Decker is the founder of Decker Properties, Inc. and a real estate investor with nearly 40 years of experience owning and operating apartment communities across Wisconsin.

He began his career at age 23 after deciding as a teenager that he wanted to build a life in real estate—and has been pursuing that vision ever since. Over four decades, he has navigated multiple real estate cycles, built a successful business, and developed a practical, experience-driven approach to leadership, decision-making, and long-term success.

David is the author of several books on real estate and business, including How to Go to the Super Bowl for Free: And Other Success Secrets from the Victory Playbook. His writing blends real-world business insight with lessons on mindset, discipline, and faith.

A lifelong sports fan, David still roots for both the Chicago White Sox and the Green Bay Packers—an experience that has taught him as much about perseverance as any business venture.
