Norman James Wilson

Norman James Wilson is an award-winning author and a retired professor of European History. He was awarded an Editors' Choice Award from Booklist (American Library Association) for his book "World Eras: European Renaissance and Reformation." The series World Eras, of which his book was the first volume, was later named as one of the "Twenty Best Bets for Student Researchers" by Booklist. Wilson was also awarded the Theodore Saloutos Award for his article "Conceptions of Poor Relief in Sixteenth-Century Strasbourg" in the UCLA Historical Journal. In 2003, he was named the Methodist College Professor of the Year.
