Diane Sward Rapaport

Diane Sward Rapaport is the author of three books. Home Sweet Jerome, Death and Rebirth of Arizona's Richest Copper Mining City (Big Earth Publishing, 2014); How to Make and Sell Your Own Recording (Pearson Education, 1979, 5 revisions); and a Music Business Primer (Pearson, 1995.

Diane Rapaport is a pioneer of music business education for musicians. She began offering courses for musicians in 1974, after working for seven years as an artist's manager for Bill Graham's Fillmore Management in San Francisco. In 1990, she founded Jerome Headlands Press in 1990, which produced five music business books and co-published them with Pearson Education. The Musician's Business and Legal Guide, still in print, has sold 110,000 copies.

She holds a Master Degree in Renaissance Literature and History from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
