Charles B. Corbin

Charles B. "Chuck" Corbin is a fitness and wellness pioneer. His books, including Concepts of Physical Fitness (17th ed.)and Fitness for Life (5th ed.) have won awards for excellence (Texty and McGuffey Awards). Chuck, a Ph.D. graduate of the University of New Mexico, was the first chair of the Science Board of the President's Council on Physical Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition and was a charter member of the Fitnessgram (national youth fitness test) Science board. He is a member the National Association of Sports and Physical Education Hall of Fame. He practices what he preaches being a lifelong athlete in a variety of sports. His more than 90 books are leading sellers in the area of fitness and wellness. Corbin has made presentations throughout the world and has published more than 200 research articles related to fitness and wellness.
