Robert Aunger

Robert Aunger is an academic with a background in urban planning, anthropology, psychology and public health. He has written books about evolutionary psychology, cultural evolution, ethnographic methods, and behaviour change. He is currently associate professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and travels widely around the world, developing methods and theory to better understand, and help people modify, unhealthy behaviours. He is particularly interested in redesigning the human environment for greater human flourishing. He has been an advisor to the World Bank, UNICEF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, Unilever, Procter and Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser and Kimberly Clark.
