Larry N. Gerston

Larry appears twice weekly as the political analyst at NBC Bay Area television. He has been interviewed on NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, BBC, NPR, and CNN’s Inside Politics.

He has written more than 150 op-ed articles and has been quoted in national print media including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, and Roll Call.

Gerston speaks several times each year on civic engagement and political empowerment. He has a unique ability to passionately put complex issues into an understandable perspective.

Larry has now taken on his most personal and meaningful venture as a children's author.

In 2016, Larry’s first children’s book, "The Road to Hana," won an award at the Pacific Rim Book Festival. In it he challenges the young reader to appreciate the virtues of the journey over the destination.

In 2018, he produced "Wendell the Working Worm," which focuses on the importance of a child’s self-esteem.

His most recent effort, "Spencer Spider Just Wants Friends," deals with discrimination—a timely topic in the United States and elsewhere.
