Arnold Krupat

Born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and New York educated: Stuyvesant, NYU (B.A.), Columbia (Ph.d). Divorced; was married (more than once), 2 children, one in Brooklyn, one in Cambridge, England. Professor Emeritus at Sarah Lawrence College where I taught more than 40 years. Many National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowships; also a Guggenheim. Specialization in Native American literatures, and was an Editor for the 5th through 8th editions of the Norton Anthology of American literature. Many other academic books published, along with 2 novels.
