Kenneth J. Saltman

Kenneth J. Saltman is Professor in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at University of Illinois Chicago. His books Capitalizing on Disaster: Taking and Breaking Schools and The Gift of Education: Public Education and Venture Philanthropy received American Education Studies Association Critics' Choice Book Awards. Toward a New Common School Movement received a Society of Professors of Education Book Award. He is a fellow of the National Education Policy Center. He received a Fulbright Chair on Globalization and Culture.
