Kim O'Brien

Kim O'Brien grew up in the village of Bronxville in New York. At Emory University in Atlanta, she earned a B.A. in psychology, but then decided to pursue her love of books and writing by attaining a master's degree in fine arts from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville. She worked many years as a writer, editor, and speechwriter for IBM before writing full time. She is married, has two children and a dog named Daisy. Her favorite books are ones that move her to laugh, cry, worry, or scare her enough to check the locks on the doors.
