Ann Packer

Ann Packer is the author, most recently, of the novel Some Bright Nowhere, an Oprah's Book Club pick. Her prior books include the bestselling novels The Children’s Crusade and The Dive from Clausen’s Pier. Her short fiction has appeared in The New Yorker and in the O. Henry Prize Stories anthologies, and her work has been published around the world. She divides her time among New York, the Bay Area, and Maine.
