Paul K. Moser

Paul K. Moser is Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago and past Editor of the American Philosophical Quarterly. He is the author of: God in Moral Experience (Cambridge University Press, 2023), God on Trial (under contract, Fortress Press), Paul's Gospel of Divine Self-Sacrifice (Cambridge University Press, 2022), Divine Guidance (Cambridge University Press, 2022), The Divine Goodness of Jesus (Cambridge University Press, 2021), Understanding Religious Experience (Cambridge University Press, 2020), The God Relationship: The Ethics for Inquiry about the Divine (Cambridge University Press, 2018), The Severity of God: Religion & Philosophy Reconceived (Cambridge University Press, 2013), and The Evidence for God (Cambridge University Press, 2010). The latter three books are sequels to his book The Elusive God (Cambridge University Press, 2008), which won a national book award in Philosophy from the Jesuit Honor Society. His co-edited collection The Wisdom of the Christian Faith was published by Cambridge University Press in 2012, and his edited collection Jesus and Philosophy was published by Cambridge University Press in 2009. His co-edited collection The Testimony of the Spirit was published by Oxford University Press in 2017, and his co-edited collection The Cambridge Companion to Religious Experience was published in 2020. He is also Co-Editor of the Cambridge University Press book series, Cambridge Studies in Religion, Philosophy, and Society, and of the Cambridge UP series, Elements: Religion and Monotheism.
