Warwick Ford

Warwick Ford was born and raised in Australia, lived in Canada for 12 years, and moved to the USA in 1996. He and wife Nola live in New York in the spring and summer, and in the Colorado Rockies in winter.

Warwick is a keen runner, skier, and outdoors enthusiast. Recognizing the need for good runners and walkers guide books for our cities, he and Nola started the "Fun on Foot" book series and website. Their books and online information help residents, visitors, and newcomers get outdoors, running or walking more in and around our cities. Their main focus is on cities and towns in the New England-New York-Philadelphia corridor.

Warwick's degrees include a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. Prior to retiring from his technology career he authored two titles in the computer security field.
