Hans Levenbach

Hans Levenbach began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories as an applied statistician, consulting on forecasting applications, forecaster training and working as a forecasting manager at AT&T. After the breakup of the Bell System, he founded Delphus Inc (www.delphus.com), where he designed and marketed the PEER Planner forecasting support system as well as a number of forecasting tools (www.peerforecaster.com). He has taught statistics and forecasting courses at Columbia University in the Industrial Engineering Department as well as MBA statistics at the Stern School of Business at New York University.

He and his wife Suzanne enjoy traveling and attend the annual International Symposium on Forecasting, where he gained much of the background for the most recent book. Over time, he became an elected Fellow, Past President and Treasurer of the International Institute of Forecasters, and retains membership in a number of other organizations like INFORMS, APICS and the American Statistical Association. Hans is also an elected member of International Statistical Institute.

In recent years he collaborated with his co-author Jim Cleary in designing and developing the CPDF curriculum for Certifying Professionals in Demand Forecasting (www.cpdftraining.org.)
