Glenn Wallis

I hold a Ph.D. in Buddhist studies from Harvard University. My earlier work is concerned with how to make classical Buddhist literature, philosophy, and practice relevant to contemporary life. Presently, I am interested in developing tools for a social and and ideological critique of Buddhism as well as Laruellan-inspired re-descriptions of Buddhism, which I term "non-buddhism." I also write about radical education theory and anarchism. I am currently engaged in formulating a materialist "spirituality," as is reflected in my most recent work, Non Buddhist Mysticism.
