My coffee table style books are the result of two passions - flying and photography, plus the desire to share with others the fantastic views I get to see and photograph from the air. I have operated an aerial photography business for the past 28 years and have accumulated close to 7000 hours flying my Cessna Cardinal all over the country. My first two books illustrate my love affair with Michigan and the third with the lighthouses of Lake Michigan since this is the area where I live and do much of my work.

I didn't learn to fly until after our five kids were grown, but during my first introductory flying lesson I was immediately and permanently hooked. My husband of 56 years has tollerated my addiction fairly well through all this time, and we have a wonderful family which now includes great grandchildren.
