Trevor Millum

Trevor Millum was a teacher and Head of English as well as Director of the National Association for the Teaching of English and a manager for Creative Partnerships. Now retired, he is a freelance writer, editor, consultant - and keen gardener. He has authored many works of fiction - including stories, plays and poetry - for children as well as grown-ups. He has also written a number of books for teachers. His previous published works range from 'Images of Woman' (Chatto 1975) to 'The Poetry Guide' (Troika 2020). 'Son of the Secret Gardener' is his latest book and tells the story of his grandfather who was gardener to Frances Hodgson Burnett in the garden which inspired 'The Secret Garden'.
