Beverly van Kampen

Beverly Van Kampen is a freelance writer, Bible teacher, and speaker. In addition to writing magazine articles and Bible studies, she is the author of The GodSense Devotional (2004) and The Bible Study Teacher's Guide (2006), The Bible for Skeptics (2016),The GodSense Journey (2016), and The Inspired Devotional (2021).

A former journalist, she has a bachelor's degree in journalism and education and has taken graduate level courses in communication. She taught high school and middle school English for several years, two of which were at an English speaking school in Central America.

Beverly had a successful 20-plus year career in various roles related to the development of investment real estate in Western Michigan. Then, from 2011 through 2014, she has served as the Director of Online Learning for Our Daily Bread Ministries (formerly RBC Ministries) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She lives in Spring Lake, Michigan with her husband, Warren, a retired physician. Together they are actively involved in mission work, music, and family.
