Mim Harrison

Mim Harrison is a longtime writer and editor who discovered early on that the magic of English lay in the many languages that created it. E PLURIBUS ENGLISH is her fourth book for word lovers, and she hopes readers will have fun with it.

Additionally, Mim has written introductory and prefatory text for books on such masters of language as Samuel Johnson, Cicero, Lincoln, and Robert Louis Stevenson.

As a specialty publisher of limited-edition books, she has collaborated with the Smithsonian, the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Morgan Library & Museum, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, the Churchill Estate, and the Library of Congress.

Mim is currently an exhibitions editor for The New York Public Library as well as the editorial and brand director of the America the Bilingual project. After studying Latin and French in her school years, she is now learning Spanish.
