Brian Henderson

Brian Henderson is the author of thirteen volumes of poetry, the newest of which (spring 2022) is unfinishing from McGill Queens University Press. Unidentified Poetic Object (Brick Books, 2019) was longlisted for the Raymond Souster Award for best book of poetry by the League of Canadian Poets, Sharawadji (Brick Books, 2011), was nominated for the Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry. Nerve Language (Pedlar Press, 2007) was a finalist for the Governor General's Literary Award. Henderson's work, both critical and poetic, has appeared in a number of literary journals. He holds a PhD in Canadian literature, is the past director of Wilfrid Laurier University Press and co-editor of the Laurier Poetry Series, and lives in Grey Highlands, Ontario, with his wife, Charlene.
