Robert F. Pace

A native of Texas, Robert Pace, earned a Ph.D. in History from Texas Christian University. He taught History for nearly twenty years at Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia, and McMurry University, in Abilene, Texas. His writing interests have always focused on social and cultural stories...what makes us who we are? He has written extensively about the nineteenth-century American South and Texas History. But he is also published in areas of Church History and culture. In 2009, he left academia, and in 2012, he was ordained an Episcopal priest, and continues to serve in that vocation.
