David Nikki Crouse lives in Seattle, Washington, where they teach in the M.F.A. Program at the University of Washington-Seattle. Their fiction has received numerous awards, including the Flannery O'Connor Award in Short Fiction, The Mary McCarthy Prize, and the Lawrence Prize.
