Molly Brown Koch

Molly Brown Koch (1927-) began her parent-education career in the early 1950s, leading parent groups for the Parent and Family Life Education program of the Baltimore County Public Schools and the Parent Education program for the Baltimore City Public Schools. From the hundreds of parents from all walks of life who attended her groups, and the hundreds more that she met outside the groups, Molly gleaned the wisdom that came from their experiences and feelings and put it into her Mom's Choice Silver Award book, "27 Secrets to Raising Amazing Children." At the age of 82 she is still leading parent groups and training facilitators for her highly successful KEEP THE CONNECTION WORKSHOPS for Parents and Other Caregivers of children in Baltimore City Public Schools. The groups are based on her book. Molly also writes a monthly column, Family Matters, in Baltimore's Child Magazine.
