Carmen Gray

A Native Texan of Mexican-American heritage, Carmen is a retired teacher in Austin and a writer whose work appears in multiple volumes of Road Kill: Texas Horror by Texas Writers and in several anthologies published by Castle Bridge Media. She is editing a collection of women’s writing and has poetry in various publications. A freelance writer and editor for Latino and Mueller magazines, as well as Tribeza, she is a member of The Writers League of Texas, a Chateau d'Orquevaux Writing Residency awardee, recipient of a Landmarks of American History and Culture grant and has been a moderator at the Texas Book Festival. She is currently working her fourth novel for publication.
