Robert Perry

Robert Perry is a spiritual teacher whose work for more than four decades has focused on the teachings of A Course in Miracles, on making those teachings clear, accessible, and practical.

Robert’s latest book The Teacher: Reclaiming the Original Message of Jesus of Nazareth is the culmination of decades of research into the life, teachings, and vision of Jesus—and an invitation to encounter Jesus not simply as an object of belief, but as a teacher whose message can still be lived today.

Robert began teaching A Course in Miracles in 1986 and founded the Circle of Atonement in 1993, where he continues to serve as founder and lead teacher. He is the author of numerous books on the Course, including An Introduction to A Course in Miracles and Path of Light: Stepping into Peace with A Course in Miracles. He also served as lead editor of the Complete and Annotated Edition of A Course in Miracles, which draws on Helen Schucman’s handwritten notes to restore material and wording lost in the Course’s original publication.

Alongside his work with A Course in Miracles, Robert has spent decades studying the historical Jesus. Inspired by the modern quest to understand Jesus within his first-century setting, he co-founded an organization devoted to exploring the historical Jesus and recovering the original meaning of his teachings. Over the years, he has created extensive educational material on Jesus and engaged in conversations with leading scholars in the field.
