Andy Quan

I'm the author of four books and the co-editor of one. My writing has also appeared in many anthologies and literary journals. My writing is a mix of the fictional, semi-autobiographical, and fully-autobiographical, and I write about a range of topics: culture, family, race, childhood, sex, community, dating, gay identity, and more.

I love being a published author and I'm very thankful to my publishers and editors. I don't imagine I'll ever be a huge-selling author, but the books I've sold have allowed me to get my words and thoughts out into the world, perform and present at lively events, and meet interesting people and kindred souls - both fellow authors and fans.
