I first took my work to a kiosk in White Marsh Mall Maryland

to test it. It was April 7th, 1997 and I had no idea that

people would react to my cute characters

and sentimental writing the way they did.

As I look back, I think about the journey.....

the ups and downs....the joy I found in giving you the

words to say "I LOVE you".. and the struggles along the way.

It hasn't always been easy...but each LESSON learned,

is woven into my work and writing and SHARED with you.

" How did you know what I wanted to say?"

was the thing I heard the most as people

bought handfuls of the simple cards that

I ran off on the copy machine!

"I wrote all these cards to the people I LOVE" was my answer...

" We all want to say the same simple things to the people in our lives."
