Kara Lindstrom

I work as a screenwriter. Before doing this, I was a Set Decorator, Art Director and Production Designer on movies and television. My work in film began with a job at The Community Film Workshop of Chicago. While there, I made my own movies and used one as a portfolio piece for the American Film Institute, which I attended as a Directing Fellow.

I split my time between Paris and Los Angeles. I travel a lot, often getting my best work done in departure lounges. I also move a lot, and most of my stuff is packed into a storage unit which I visit rarely.

Sparkle Life is my first novel.
