Ruth Irwin

Ruth Irwin is an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University. She was Professor of Education at the University of Aberdeen and the University of Fiji. Ruth Irwin is passionate about a safe transition from business-as-usual to a post-growth world, where accelerating climate change is a thing of the past. She is creative, wide ranging, and an active original thinker. Ruth Irwin is a leading voice in Climate Change and the Humanities. Her work has been translated into 18 languages. She has delivered over 100 lectures, globally, including as an Expert Speaker to the Unesco Conference on Climate Change and Biodiversity, in Monaco.
