Jim Ingraham

I was born in Maine and much of my writing is centered on places I knew as a boy in Portland. My character Duff Kerrigan (a new DK story is upcoming in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine in June. I served in combat with the First Marine Division FMF on Peleliu and Okinawa, and am a 30% recipient of VA benefits for injuries received during WWII. I graduated from NYU and became a college professor at Bryant University in Rhode Island. I've been a skip chaser in New York and Detroit, an extra in two Hollywood movies. I spent 14 days in a Japanese jail for "fratenizing with the enemy," a girl I met in Sasebo. I hitch-hiked from Detroit to LA to get a look at the country, finally settled down with a wonderful woman, moved to Florida with her and our two children. I write every day and do a lot of sleeping. I'm 89 years old.
