Steve Pomper is a recently retired police officer and writer living in the

Pacific Northwest. He is a contributor for OpsLens.com. Other articles have appeared in American Iron Magazine, Crosscut.com, the Seattle Police Officer's Guild: The

Guardian, and other online and print magazines.

Steve is the author of four books:

Steve's new book examines an increasingly damaged relationship between cops and their communities. Leftist antipathy toward and social justice indoctrination of police officers has created an atmosphere where cops instinctively refrain from proactive policing. In this era of international terrorism and our own inner-city violent crime, isn't this the worst time to be marginalizing our law enforcement officers?

Steve is currently working on several fiction and non-fiction projects.

Steve enjoys riding his Harley and spending time with his retired firefighter wife.
