Bret Werner

Bret Werner has a BA in History from Kutztown University, an MEd in Social Studies Education from Widener University, and was elected an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Mr. Werner chairs the social studies department in a public-school district in Pennsylvania and teaches AP European history, as well as dual-enrollment US history college courses. He has consulted on and appeared in documentaries connected to his published work, most recently on Commando Missions (Season 1, Episode 4: "Operation Raincoat"), 2025. His focus is 20th-century military history, particularly multinational forces and the material culture of conflict.
