Lisa Teasley

Lisa Teasley is the author of the award-winning story collection Glow in the Dark (Cune Press, hardcover, Bloomsbury, paperback), the critically acclaimed novels, Dive and Heat Signature (Bloomsbury) and her latest, the story collection Fluid (Cune Press, paperback). Her writings have been translated into French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, and Arabic. Lisa Teasley’s stories and essays have been much anthologized including in W.W. Norton anthology Flash Fiction America and Europa Editions The Passenger: California. She is the writer and presenter of the BBC television documentary “High School Prom,” which was in longterm rotation in the UK, and the librettist of "The Passion of Nell," which won the Davise Fund Grant and will be a Long Beach Opera 2027 world premiere. A visual artist as well, Lisa Teasley has exhibited her paintings widely, most recently for a solo show at OFFUS Gallery, February - April 2026.
