Ron DeBoer

Ron De Boer, grew up in the New York City neighborhood of Washington Heights. His debut novel, The Freeze, introduces the reader to the Dunn family, and the trials and tribulations of everyday life during Christmas of 1962. His supporting cast of characters, taken from his own life experiences, from working as a ditch digger, and ending as a partner at a legal advertising agency, as well as serving as a nineteen-year-old infantryman during the Vietnam War, add to this gripping tale. The author lives on the Jersey Shore with his wife Helen, dividing his time between surf casting and writing.
