Ashley Rice is a multidisciplinary artist, originally from Texas. Her first greeting card line was Backyard Poetry. She wrote and illustrated popular tween books and wall calendars for SPS Studios. She later created e-cards for the BlueMountain website. Her work was published in multiple languages by Vergara y Riba. Her book Girls Rule was adapted into an audiobook titled All That Is Beautiful, used for English–Chinese language learning. At AG Interactive (American Greetings), she created storyboards for animated e-cards. She taught herself digital design. She appeared in a short film directed by Oscar winner Errol Morris that opened the 2002 Academy Awards and has worked as a production assistant in Los Angeles. She writes educational video games for kids and works as a content writer focused on research and machine learning in the Bay Area. She also writes and records music and enjoys building things with code.
