Biography of Randall S. Collica:

Mr. Collica received a B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Northern Arizona University in 1982. He has 16 years' experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry working on yield engineering, product and quality engineering. From 1998 to 2010 he was with Compaq and Hewlett-Packard as a Sr. Business Analyst using Data Mining techniques for customer analytics in the Corp Customer Intelligence department. He is currently a Principal Solutions Architect for SAS Institute supporting the Telecommunications, Technology and Media industries. His current interests are in Clustering and Ensemble models, Missing data and imputation, Econometrics, and Text Mining techniques for use in business and customer intelligence. He has authored and co-authored 11 articles and a book on “Customer Segmentation and Clustering using SAS Enterprise Miner, 3rd ed. He is also working on a new book on Segmentation with SAS Viya to be published hopefully in 2020. Mr. Collica is also a member of the International Institute of Forecasters and a past member of the IEEE. He is also patent holder of a US patent on “System and Method of Combining Segmentation Data”, filed Oct. 2012 and patented Aug. 2015. He also is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Spears School of Business MS Analytics at Oklahoma State Univ. and Univ. of Central Oklahoma College of Business.
