Jacki Pritchard

Jacki Pritchard works as an independent social worker, clinical hypnotherapist and a trainer. She has always specialised in working with abuse issues – both children and adults. She works in two practice locations, schools and colleges.

Jacki was a research assistant at Sheffield University before she became a social worker; then always maintained her interest in conducting research and writing whilst being a practitioner. Jacki founded the organisation Beyond Existing, Support Groups for Adult Who Have Been Abused after undertaking the research project ‘The Needs of Older Women: Services for Victims of Elder Abuse’, which was funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation; and expanded to include male victims.
