I am a writer and pioneer in the emerging field of Integral Philosophy, an intellectual edifice that values wisdom, holism, and development.

At the age of 33-34 years old, I wrote the groundbreaking chronicle of self-discovery, Soulfully Gay (Integral Books/Shambhala, 2007). In the Foreword, Ken Wilber said, “As it turns out, Joe is a writer, a rip-roaring wonder of a writer ... in one of the most astonishing tales of death and resurrection you are likely to find in today's literature."

My most recent publication is The Kalendar I: The Black Stone, a work of experimental fiction and poetry that merges fantasy and spiritual themes.
