Mark Hordyszynski

Born and raised in New York City, Mark graduated from both The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. He has worked in both the front of the house and in the kitchen of restaurants, hotels and an affluent Westchester NY country club; he has designed menswear, runs his own small business, and is an artist, author, award winning photographer and fabric designer, accomplished knitter with a published How-to book that teaches knitting with fabric: Strip & Knit with Style. He now resides on the island of Maui where he is working on several fiction books: a sequel to Shag, a collection of short horror stories based in New York City and a sci-fi horror novel.
