Christopher D. O'Sullivan

Chris O'Sullivan is the author of the recently-released Frank Knox: Roughrider in FDR's War Cabinet. His is also the author of Harry Hopkins: FDR's Envoy to Churchill and Stalin (Rowman and Littlefield 2014); FDR and the End of Empire (Macmillan 2012); Sumner Welles (Columbia University Press 2009) which won the American Historical Association's Gutenberg Prize; Colin Powell (Rowman and Littlefield 2009); and The United Nations (2005). He teaches history at the University of San Francisco and is a recipient of their Innovations in Teaching Award as well as their Distinguished Lecturer Award and was a Fulbright Visiting Professor at the University of Jordan. He received his BA in history from UC Berkeley and his Ph.D. from the University of London, London School of Economics.
